The Old Forests, New
Management conference committee is happy to be able to announce
that, as a result of this conference being accepted into the Sir
Mark Oliphant Conference Series - International Frontiers of Science
and Technology, a number of registrants from developing countries
and a number of postgraduate students from outside Tasmania will be
awarded waivers of their conference registration fee.
If you are in either of these categories and wish to be considered
for a waiver of your conference registration fee, then please follow
the following steps:
- Complete an
application form and fax to Conference Design on 03 6224 3773 or
international +61 3 6224 3774.
Application Form (MS Word Document).
- Tick the
appropriate box on the registration page to indicate whether you
are from a developing countries or a postgraduate student from
outside Tasmania (if you are a postgraduate student from a
developing country you can tick both boxes)
- Submit an
abstract for a presentation. This can be either a talk or
a poster. Abstracts are to be
submitted via the Speakers Zone on this web site.
- Fax to
Conference Design on 03 6224 3773 or international +61 3 6224
3774 a one-page curriculum vitae and (for students) evidence of
your current student enrolment status.
Individuals in these categories who have already registered will be
automatically considered for these fee waivers.
Developing countries are any country with the exception of the USA,
Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Europe.
